The IAMSLIC Executive Board decided not to print the 2008 proceedings.

Mmm. I have no problem with us dropping the print, but I do think it is not really ethical to drop the 2008 print when we were told it was included in our conference registration fee for 2008. What about those (if any) who paid for an extra copy of the printed conference proceedings with their registration?
Is the plan to not do print proceedings for 2009 and future IAMSLIC conference? If so, we need to change the registration form to remove the option of purchasing additional copies and not tell people they will get a print copy as part of their registration fee.

Good point Joe. I fully agree with you. ..and … wouldn’t it be nice to have at least a kind of e-wrap / binding / container of the articles of the last IAMSLIC conference and post this as ‘2008 Conference Proceedings’ on the IAMSLIC website?
