It is with mixed feelings that I post this job. \u00c2\u00a0I love my job, but after 32 years at Stanford, I have decided to\u00c2\u00a0retire to allow more time for diving adventures, travel, and spending\u00c2\u00a0time with friends and family.<\/p>\n
When I moved down from main campus 21 years ago it was a “reassignment” so the job was not posted. \u00c2\u00a0My predecessor, Alan Baldridge, also held the job for several decades, so this will be the first time in almost half a century that the job is being\u00c2\u00a0advertised.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0It is a rare opportunity for the right person.<\/p>\n
