The 2003 Annual Meeting of the Cyamus Regional Group was held at the Royal Kona Resort on the Big Island of Hawai'l and will be hosted by the University of Hawai'i Libraries. Kris Anderson was the primary conference host. Gordon Miller, current Cyamus Representative, was the program planner and moderator. The theme of this year's meeting was "Resource Management: From Oceans to OPACs."

Registration, Lodging and Meals

Registration fee: $175.00 per person
Please complete the Registration Form (Microsoft Word document) and be sure that it is postmarked no later than January 15th.
Registration includes the program, field trip, conference facilities, welcome reception and two lunches. An optional snorkeling cruise is offered on Wednesday, March 5th; see registration form for details.

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: January 15, 2003

Lodging
The Conference will be held at the Royal Kona Resort. Hotel rooms have been reserved starting on March 4 for those of you who would like to do the snorkel boat tour on Wednesday morning. Hotel rates are great (for Hawaii!) with a regular room at $89 + tax or ocean view at $105 + tax. Attendees should complete the hotel reservation form (PDF) and send it directly to the resort to make room reservations.

Hotel reservation forms and deposits must be received by February 2nd.


Transportation

The closest airport is Kailua-Kona which has flights to and from San Francisco and Los Angeles, as well as connecting flights through Honolulu. For those who do not want to rent a car, arrangements will be made for transportation to and from the airport.
